Country Health SA and the Rural Doctors Association SA on Thursday, 18 February 2010 reached agreement on the terms on engagement and the associated financial arrangements.
The relevant documentation to this agreement can be found on this page and are as follows:
- The standard template Agreement between the Doctor, or practice, and Country Health SA
- SARMER (South Australian Rural Medical Engagement Responsibilities) which defines the duties, responsibilities and rights of the signatories to the agreement
- SARMFA (South Australian Medical Rural Fee Agreement) which defines and explains the fee for service structure, and included the SA Medical Schedule of Fees (SAMSOF)
As a result of this work there will be a clear and agreed set of arrangements that will define the relationship between Country Health SA and resident rural General Practitioners who provide services in country hospital across South Australia.
