The South East Health Service is saying a huge thank you to its 300-plus dedicated helpers with a number of events for National Volunteer Week (May 9-15).

The community is invited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Crystal Brook/Port Pirie Midwifery Team with a fun family picnic this Sunday.

Spotlight on Country Health Services during Riverland tour (PDF 148KB)
Healthcare initiatives, ideas and challenges will be discussed at a meeting of local Health Advisory Council members to be held in the Riverland this week. The meeting is part of a two-day tour of the Riverland by the Country Health SA (CHSA) Governing Council and CHSA executives, during which they will meet with community Health Advisory Councils members from across the region.

Tarpari Wellbeing Day will be held on Wednesday, 20 April, at Memorial Park in Port Pirie from 10am until 2pm. Focusing on Aboriginal health, culture and reconciliation this community event has much to offer the whole community of Port Pirie and the Mid North area.

Improved local surgical services (PDF 178KB)
Patients at Riverland General Hospital will receive improved colonoscopy and endoscopy services under changes being implemented over the coming weeks.
