Angaston Hospital is part of the Inner North Country Health Service.  Angaston is a 26 bed hospital offering inpatient medical, surgical, and 24-hour accident and emergency service.
 

This is a 24-hour service. When you arrive at accident and emergency, you will be seen by the duty nurse to collect information and assess your illness or injury.

In a medical emergency, it is important that you do not ‘self present’ to hospital. SA Ambulance Service emergency medical dispatch support officers can provide advanced first-aid advice over the telephone to initiate treatment before being transported to hospital, while an ambulance is on its way to you.
 

All patients through accident and emergency will be treated as private patients when seen by a doctor and will incur a fee.

For general wards, visiting hours are 11.00 am to 8.00 pm.
