The Barmera Hospital is part of the Riverland Health Services. Our hospital is a 20 bed facility for people receiving acute medical treatment. We also have 81 residential care places and 62 independent living units on site.

Accident and emergency
 
Weekdays: 8.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday.

After hours and public holidays: Contact the Berri Hospital on (08) 8580 2400.

When you arrive at accident and emergency, you will be seen by the duty nurse to collect information and assess your illness or injury.

In a medical emergency, it is important that you do not ‘self present’ to hospital. SA Ambulance Service emergency medical dispatch support officers can provide advanced first-aid advice over the phone while an ambulance is on its way to you.

Visiting hours: 11.00 am to 8.00 pm

Car parking
 
Parking is available at the front of the hospital with additional parking on Hawdon Street. Disabled parking is available onsite.

Riverland Community Health Service is part of the Riverland Health Services and provides therapeutic nursing and allied health professional services, specialised assessment, support services, health promotion and advice on health issues.
