The Ceduna Hospital and Health Service is part of the Eyre and Western Health Services. Services available include primary health care, independent living units, a medical practice, dental practice and a 'Step Down' accommodation unit for Aboriginal patients and their families.
 
There are 25 acute care beds and 10 beds for people requiring high level aged care at the hospital, as well as 29 aged care beds for people needing a low level of care at the Far West Senior Citizens Lodge.

Accident and emergency

This is a 24-hour service. When you arrive at accident and emergency, you will be seen by the duty nurse to collect information and assess your illness or injury. There is a doctor on call, if required. 

In a medical emergency, it is important that you do not ‘self present’ to hospital. SA Ambulance Service emergency medical dispatch support officers can provide advanced first-aid advice over the phone while an ambulance is on its way to you.

There is parking onsite, including disabled parking.

The Community Health Service promotes and assists in maintaining the health and wellbeing of the people of Ceduna and surrounding districts.

The Ceduna Koonibba Aboriginal Health Service (CKAHS) is part of the Western Eyre Health Services. The Aboriginal health service is a community-based service designed to meet the health needs of Aboriginal people living within Ceduna and surrounding districts. We provide a culturally appropriate health services to the Aboriginal community.
