The Cleve Community Health and Eastern Eyre Health and Aged Care is part of the Whyalla Eastern Eyre and Far North Health Services. Cleve is a 20 bed hospital providing acute and aged care services to Cleve, Arno Bay and the surrounding rural community. We also have 20 hostel rooms, 15 aged care cottages and extensive community services.

Accident and emergency

This is a 24-hour service. When you arrive at accident and emergency, you will be seen by the duty nurse to collect information and assess your illness or injury.

In a medical emergency, it is important that you do not ‘self present’ to hospital. SA Ambulance Service emergency medical dispatch support officers can provide advanced first-aid advice over the phone while an ambulance is on its way to you.

Cleve has an ambulance service and access to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Visiting hours

Visiting hours: Between 11.00 am to 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm to 8.00 pm.

Other times can be negotiated with nursing staff depending on the patient’s condition.

There is parking onsite, including disabled parking.

Disabled access

The building is wheelchair accessible and there are toilets for people with disability. Please ask at Reception.
