The Hawker Memorial Hospital is part of the is part of the Flinders and Outback Health Services and the Flinders Ranges Multipurpose Service. Our hospital provides accident and emergency services, medical and surgical services and a range of allied health services provided by visiting practitioners.

Accident and emergency

This is a 24-hour service. When you arrive at accident and emergency, you will be seen by the registered nurse to collect information and assess your illness or injury. Following this assessment, treatment and advice may be given, or further advice from the Medical Officer may be sought as required.

SA Ambulance Service emergency medical dispatch support officers can provide advanced first-aid advice over the phone while an ambulance is on its way to you.

The building is wheelchair accessible and there are toilets for people with disability. Please ask at Reception.
