The Meningie Hospital has 14 beds for people receiving active medical treatment and 10 aged care beds. We have a 24-hour emergency department and visiting specialists provide operating theatre services. We also have a community health centre and outreach services.

In a medical emergency, it is important that you do not ‘self present’ to hospital.  SA Ambulance Service emergency medical dispatch support officers can provide advanced first-aid advice over the phone while an ambulance is on its way to you.
