The Renmark Paringa District Hospital is part of the Riverland Health Services. The hospital is a 17 bed facility providing medical and surgical services, accident and emergency, and 89 bed residential aged care facilities.

Renmark has a population of approximately 10,000 and is located in the Riverland 250kms east of Adelaide.

Accident and emergency

Accident and emergency services are available at the hospital from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday. For after hours, weekends and public holidays please go to the Berri Hospital for these services.

When you arrive at the emergency department you will be seen by a registered nurse to collect information and assess your illness or injury.

In a medical emergency, it is important that you do not ‘self present’ to hospital. SA Ambulance Service emergency medical dispatch support officers can provide advanced first-aid advice over the phone while an ambulance is on its way to you.

Visiting hours: 11.00 am to 8.00 pm.

Riverland Community Health Service is part of the Riverland Health Services and provides therapeutic nursing and allied health professional services, specialised assessment, support services, health promotion and advice on health issues.
